The Decoy
Brain is a two-stage timer with relay
output designed to work in a 6 volt or 12 Volt
environment. Provided are seven user-selectable on times
ranging from 4 to 18 seconds as well as three selectable
off times from 6 to 20 seconds. Switch 3 provides for
bypass operation in the event you so desire to have the
unit rotate constantly. All switch settings are listed on
the removable cover on the Unit for reference and or more
fully explained on the Settings
Page and refer to the Instructions
page for Model Specific Details.
Follow the simple steps on the rear cover for
installation and should your unit have a remote control,
connecting it as shown will still allow the remote to
turn off your Brain and thus the Motion Decoys as
well. It is important to note that the System processes
the off cycle first and then the on cycle so when you
turn on your remote or the switch on your Spinning
Wing Decoy, the wings will not turn until the off
time expires (6-18 seconds).
The units come set to 8 seconds off and six seconds on
and are easily changed thru the switch settings on the
unit and as indicated on the removable cover.
Also included with the unit are velcro adhesive strips
to mount the device either to the 6 volt battery or to
the Motion Decoys. In addition, wire nuts of
proper size are included to allow for ease-of-connection

The
Mallard Machine Controller is another
unique Product designed to work with the Mallard
Machine as sold in Cabellas and other
Magazines. This device automates the unit with adjustable
off times from 4 to 20 seconds and adjustable on times of
1/4 to 2 seconds as any more On time will submerge the
Decoys attached to the Mallard Machine. Simply
connect it to your battery and connect the Mallard
Machine unit to the controller, adjust the On/Off
Times to your liking (we hunt with 8 seconds off and
1/2 second on to keep maximum water movement with minimum
decoy clatter), and SHOOT UM UP!
